The filter cartridge prevents odors from escaping outside the vehicle; replace it once a year.
Activated Carbon
An important component of the SOG and SOG II is activated carbon. It consists primarily of carbon (usually >90%) with a highly porous structure. The pores are interconnected, similar to a sponge (open-cell). Activated carbon is used as an absorbent in fields such as chemistry, medicine, water and wastewater treatment, as well as ventilation and air conditioning.
It ensures excellent neutralization of extracted odors and should therefore be replaced annually. For the SOG II floor-mounted version.
