First of all, we’re glad that you were impressed by the step’s sturdiness and overall stability. This makes it all the more frustrating, of course, that the lower step bent despite being loaded below the specified weight capacity.
The Ruckstep is designed as a practical step aid for trailers and RVs and features two treads of different heights. With a product like this, a sturdy construction and reliable load-bearing capacity are especially important to ensure safe entry and exit.
The specified maximum load capacity is 150 kg. It goes without saying that a step should not deform when used as intended and under a load within this limit.
Since a bent step can compromise stability and safety, we recommend that you, as a precaution, stop using the double step in this condition.
We recommend that you have the damage inspected as part of a warranty claim, along with your proof of purchase.

Es freut uns zunächst, dass Dich die Standfestigkeit und der insgesamt stabile Eindruck der Doppeltrittstufe überzeugen konnten. Umso ärgerlicher ist es natürlich, dass sich die untere Stufe trotz einer Belastung unterhalb der angegebenen Tragfähigkeit verbogen hat.
Die Ruckstep ist als praktische Einstiegshilfe für Wohnwagen und Wohnmobile konzipiert und verfügt über zwei unterschiedlich hohe Trittflächen. Gerade bei einem solchen Produkt sind eine stabile Konstruktion und eine zuverlässige Belastbarkeit besonders wichtig, damit der Ein- und Ausstieg sicher erfolgen kann.
Die angegebene maximale Belastbarkeit beträgt 150 kg. Dass sich eine Trittfläche bei bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung und einer Belastung innerhalb dieses Grenzwerts verformt, sollte selbstverständlich nicht passieren.
Da eine verbogene Stufe die Standfestigkeit und Sicherheit beeinträchtigen kann, empfehlen wir Dir, die Doppeltrittstufe in diesem Zustand vorsichtshalber nicht weiterzuverwenden.
