Caratec CASAT500S Smart-D satellite antenna - Compact high-end solution for motorhomes
The Caratec CASAT500S satellite antenna was specially developed for use in panel vans and compact motorhomes with limited space on the vehicle roof. With a 50-centimeter mirror, it offers strong reception performance with minimal space requirements. It is conveniently controlled via the remote control of a Caratec television with integrated Smart-D function. This allows the antenna to be opened and closed without the need for a separate control unit.

The CASAT500S enables automatic reception of up to 12 satellites via DiSEqC control (Digital Satellite Equipment Control). Thanks to a single, detachable cable between the control unit and the roof unit, installation is simple and flexible. A solid worm gear with ball-bearing axles and brass gears ensures a long service life and precise movement.

A safety mechanism ensures that the antenna retracts automatically when the vehicle engine is started. The CASAT500S is also twin-ready, which means that it can later be expanded to connect two televisions. Updates can be carried out easily using a microSD card. It can also be used with existing televisions or satellite receivers without any problems - the antenna is very flexible in this respect.
