The filter cartridge prevents odors from escaping outside the vehicle; replace it once a year.
Activated Carbon
An important component of the SOG and SOG II is activated carbon. It consists primarily of carbon (usually >90%) with a highly porous structure. The pores are interconnected, much like those in a sponge (open-cell). Activated carbon is used as an absorbent in fields such as chemistry, medicine, water and wastewater treatment, as well as ventilation and air conditioning technology.
