La Siesta’s hanging chairs offer plenty of space to sit or lie down comfortably—just like in a cozy hammock. With a fabric surface measuring 180 cm in length, Comfort hanging chairs provide optimal seating and lounging pleasure in a compact space.
The performance fabric was specially developed to meet the unique demands of outdoor hammocks. It is easy to care for, quick-drying, and weather-resistant. By doubling the weft threads, the selvedges are reinforced and therefore particularly tear-resistant. Thanks to a special swivel, you can comfortably and safely rotate 360° in your hanging chair without the suspension cords rotating with you.
The high-quality bamboo wood is exceptionally sturdy and elegant. Thanks to sophisticated slat technology, it has a pleasantly smooth surface and is extremely weather-resistant.
Tips & Care:
- Space Requirements: Depending on the model, a hanging height of 200–220 cm is required to install a hanging chair. If the hanging point is higher, the hanging chair can be extended with a rope.
- Mounting: To hang a hanging chair, you’ll need a mounting point on the ceiling, a tree branch, or a beam. A hanging chair takes up less space than a hammock and integrates well into your living space. When not in use, it can be taken down in a single step.
- Reclining position: Comfort or King-size hanging chairs offer enough space to lie down in. The longer the spreader bar, the more freedom you have for your upper body.
- Machine wash: The fabric part of the hanging chair is removable; you can wash it at 30°C on the gentle cycle!
- Tie the straps together: Tie the suspension cords together before washing to prevent them from getting tangled.
- No dryer: To protect your product, let it air dry only—do not put it in the dryer.
- Store dry over the winter: We recommend cleaning the hammock before winter storage. Once it’s completely dry, it can be wrapped in plastic and stowed away to protect it from pests.
