Alcove

An alcove is a sleeping alcove in the motorhome, which is above the driver's cabin and above the driver's cabin. This can also be easily recognised from the outside by the bulging nose. A great advantage here is that the living space can be used ideally due to the bed being moved upwards. This leaves more space for seating, kitchen or bathroom, for example.

However, a disadvantage is that the additional height of the superstructure increases air resistance, which in turn increases fuel consumption. Inexperienced drivers easily forget to set up, be careful with signs and branches.
