Aluminium Frame
Aluminium offers you a clear weight advantage compared to tubular steel. Compared to a 25 millimetre steel boom you can save almost 50 percent in weight with a 28 millimetre boom. This makes the aluminium frame ideal for touring campers. In the common version, aluminium tent poles are made of anodised aluminium and have a diameter of 25 or 28 millimetres with a material thickness of one millimetre.
The material has the great advantage that it does not rust and corrode even at constant humidity.
