The SKOTTI is moving on to the next level: The SKOTTI 2.0 is here! And, of course, it hasn’t lost any of its multifunctionality or flexibility. On the contrary! It’s gotten a really nice update. The new SKOTTI now comes with the “Pool” grease tray—but more on that later.
The SKOTTI remains a top choice for grilling in the park, by the lake, on the balcony—on the table or on a picnic blanket; people have even grilled on a snowboard, a paddleboard, out on the open sea, or on a car hood—with the SKOTTI, you can really grill just about anywhere. It’s the world’s first gas grill made up of plug-and-play components: You can set it up in under a minute without any tools. And it gets just as hot as a regular freestanding grill. Screw on the gas cartridge, hold a lighter to the ignition port—done!
You control the heat with a rotary knob, and in no time at all, you can enjoy something delicious off the grill. And while you’re eating, your SKOTTI cools down again, so you can set it aside, clean it, or stow it right away in its washable canvas bag.
Now with the new “POOL” grease tray
Speaking of cleaning, it’s now even easier with the new “POOL” grease tray. In the new SKOTTI, it replaces the previous, nearly flat bottom plate. Not only does it more reliably prevent grease from dripping onto the surface while grilling than before, but it also makes cleanup easier after the meal—provided the tray is filled with a little water before lighting the SKOTTI.
The new grease tray—which, by the way, has been a long-standing request from many customers—also fits the conventional SKOTTI and is therefore available separately. This means that anyone who already owns a SKOTTI can upgrade their model with minimal effort.
You get all this just as you’ve come to expect from SKOTTI: Your SKOTTI grill fits effortlessly into any RV, hiking backpack, van, canoe, motorcycle bag, or on a bike rack. Or you can simply carry it under your arm—with the bag included, SKOTTI weighs just 3.3 kg. By the way: The burner tube and gas hose are safely stored in the two compartments inside the bag, which is, of course, included with your purchase.
Slightly Raised Front Edges
In addition, both front edges of the new SKOTTI are slightly raised, so the grill offers even more functionality while maintaining nearly the same pack size. This means you can use a larger plancha or skillet, for example, since all the side panels are now the same height.
Gas, wood, charcoal—the SKOTTI grill is a true all-rounder:
The SKOTTI grill is a jack-of-all-trades not only on the grill grate but also underneath it: If you don’t have gas on hand, you can also fire up the SKOTTI with charcoal or use its body as a small fire bowl to build a cozy little campfire for you and your friends. When using charcoal or wood, be sure to fill the “Pool” grease tray with about 1 cm of sand, gravel, or soil. This provides additional protection for the stainless steel.
