The 20 cm long blade made of robust, highly flexible PiranhaXT guarantees fast anchoring with high tear-out resistance in soft surfaces such as sand or snow. The innovative SwissPiranha Snow and Sand Anchor is made of robust, highly flexible PiranhaXT and enables fast anchoring in soft ground such as sand or snow with high pull-out resistance. At 20 cm blade length, the SSA offers more holding power than comparable snow anchors, but at 43 g individual weight, it is only half as heavy! Its PiranhaXT plastic remains elastic even at low temperatures (-50 ° C) and prevents "thawing" out of the snow - as happens to conventional aluminum anchors when exposed to sunlight.
