The BlackFisk series features tent pegs made of PiranhaREC, a 100% recycled plastic - Made in Switzerland! Of course, recycled pegs offer many serious advantages over conventional metal pegs: they are ultra-light, super safe and also protect the environment. This recycled plastic peg is also forgiving of being hammered in with a hammer, axe or stone - there are no sharp edges to damage the tent fabric. Since SwissPiranha tent pegs are completely sunk into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is reduced to zero. Dirty pegs can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
