SwissPiranha Tent Pegs
Innovative and made in Switzerland, they offer significant advantages over conventional metal tent stakes: They are ultralight and, thanks to their flat profile, particularly gentle on your feet. Their tapered shape makes them easy to hammer into the ground, while an X-shaped cross-section with a sawtooth profile ensures a secure hold in a wide variety of soil types. The flat head compresses the ground and maximizes holding power. Notches reliably hold the tent lines in place and ensure optimal anchoring.
Since SwissPiranha tent stakes are fully driven into the ground at a 90° angle, the risk of injury is virtually zero, and there are no sharp edges to damage the tent fabric.
The SwissPiranha GS120 is suitable for both hard and soft ground and can be used for small to medium-sized tents and tarps, as well as for ultra-light backpacking.
The SwissPiranha GS120 is made of 100% plastic, is completely GMO-free, and is compostable! If this tent stake remains in the ground, it will biodegrade over several years—much like a piece of wood. With a length of 12 cm and a weight of 6.4 g, this tent stake is also particularly well-suited for longer tents with many guy points.
